Observations

After decades of exporting butts seasoned with Sherry to Whisky distilleries in Scotland, in 1955 a small parcel of butts of Malt Whisky was selected from each of the distilleries we supplied. Each distillate was then aged through a solera system in the firm?s bodega in Jerez, and until its launch in 2016 was solely for the private and exclusive use of the family. This is a Malt Whisky with an average age of 15 years which has been aged in butts, many of them over 100 years old, which previously contained Palo Cortados and Olorosos from Valdespino?s most prestigious soleras.
