Observations

This outstanding Brandy has been aged for more than 25 years in American oak butts seasoned over many years with our famous Olorosos in the criaderas and soleras system. It is named after King Alfonso X, known as 'the Wise' who reconquered Jerez from the Moors in 1264. This Brandy is warm, powerful and intense with distinct notes of oak and nuts as well as hints of Sherry from the butts it was aged in. It is best served at room temperature in a generous brand glass, and should be savoured in an unhurried manner after a good meal and perhaps with the coffee.
